No exercise habit is inherently wrong, but our chiropractic recovery model is built on one simple rule: we only prescribe what works specifically for you.
By applying the STRIVE Protocol, we cut out generic routines and tailor every movement to your exact functional capacity ensuring your rehab is as unique as your body.
Small laboratory studies suggest spinal adjustments can cause short-term changes in how the brain processes sensory and movement information, including activity in the prefrontal cortex and cerebellum. These are early findings, mostly in people without pain, so they don't yet show that adjustments improve brain function, coordination or wellbeing in patients.
Maintenance care means planned check-ins after pain has settled. A 2018 trial found it modestly reduced days with bothersome back pain in people with recurring low back pain who had responded well to care. It isn't for everyone, and we'll only suggest it if it suits your history and goals.
Cervicogenic headache is pain that starts in the neck and refers into the head. It's less common than tension-type headache or migraine, so a proper assessment matters. Manual therapy combined with neck exercises has the best evidence.
